Birmingham Restaurant Festival Confirms Record 60-Restaurant Lineup for Fifth Anniversary Edition

Birmingham Restaurant Festival has revealed its final lineup of 60 participating restaurants, the highest number in the event’s history, alongside a series of exclusive menus designed to showcase the city’s diverse culinary scene from 1 to 31 August.

Celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, the festival will once again encourage diners to explore Birmingham’s restaurants through specially created lunch and dinner menus, with guests able to make multiple bookings throughout the month.

Among the newly announced venues is Restaurant Folium, which will offer an elevated tasting menu experience, while Michelin-starred chef Glynn Purnell’s Plate’s by Purnell’s will showcase a specially curated festival menu.

In Birmingham city centre, diners will be able to experience a range of culinary styles and dining concepts. Michelin-starred Adam’s and plant-focused restaurant Land will both present tasting menu experiences, while Dishoom will serve its popular Bombay-inspired cuisine as part of the festival programme.

Festival-goers can also enjoy dining experiences at 24 Stories and Cow & Sow, alongside a wide range of restaurants representing the breadth of Birmingham’s hospitality scene.

The Jewellery Quarter will also play a prominent role in the festival. Michelin-starred The Wilderness will offer an exclusive tasting menu, Japanese Restaurant of the Year 2025 winner Maneki Ramen will showcase its signature dishes, and Vieni will present a Sicilian-inspired dining experience.

Restaurants beyond the city centre are also participating. In Edgbaston Village, Chapter will celebrate British produce through specially created menus, while Fiesta del Asado will showcase authentic Argentine cuisine.

In Digbeth, Michelin Guide-recommended 670 Grams will serve exclusive tasting experiences, while vegan restaurant BA-HA will provide plant-based dining options. Elsewhere, Greek Aura in Moseley, Zindiya and Pho in Harborne are among the venues offering specially curated festival menus.

The festival lineup also includes Arch 13 at Connolly’s, Chung Ying Cantonese Restaurant, Fumo by San Carlo, Flight Club, Hotel du Vin Birmingham, Indian Brewery Snowhill, The Jam House, Lulu Wild, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill Birmingham, Miller & Carter, Noel’s Bar and Restaurant, San Carlo, Siamais, Wagamama, Yakinori, The Alchemist, Asha’s, Gaucho, Lasan, Rosa’s Thai, Seafood City, Tiger Bites Pig, Vietnamese Street Kitchen and many more.
