The Ivy Chelsea Garden is once again set to take part in Chelsea in Bloom, partnering with floral design studio PHOHM to unveil a striking new installation inspired by this year’s theme, ‘Out of This World’, and the spirit of Chelsea’s creative identity.

Building on last year’s successful collaboration with PHOHM, The Ivy Chelsea Garden’s 2026 installation continues the brand’s longstanding relationship with Chelsea in Bloom while offering a fresh interpretation of the festival’s theme. The design is centred around an immersive space-themed garden, featuring aliens, an astronaut, a large Saturn sculpture and a full moon.

Designed as a visual story that reflects Chelsea’s distinctive character, the installation combines theatrical floral styling with an immersive experience that encourages the public to interact with the piece and become part of it.

The design also features an ice cream ‘observatory’, a playful focal point within the floral display, inviting passersby to stop, look and admire the work from Tuesday 12 May until the end of Chelsea in Bloom on Sunday 24 May.

Throughout Chelsea in Bloom (week commencing Monday 18 May), visitors who take a photo of the installation – whether a selfie or a picture of the display – and share it to Instagram Stories tagging @the_ivy_collection using the hashtag #ChelseaInBloom, will be offered a complimentary Jude’s Fruit Rocket Ice Lolly.

Throughout the festival, guests dining at The Ivy Chelsea Garden can also enjoy a limited-time seasonal menu created to celebrate the occasion. The Chelsea in Bloom menu features fresh, seasonal dishes across starters, mains and desserts. Highlights include Crab and Avocado Tian, Buffalo Burrata with Pesto and Crispy Duck Salad, followed by Teriyaki Salmon, Chicken Milanese, Asparagus, Courgette and Broad Bean Linguine or Sirloin Steak. Desserts include Black Bee Honey and White Chocolate Cheesecake, Flambéed Crème Brûlée and the ‘Out of this World’ White Chocolate Bombe, crafted especially for the occasion in keeping with the festival theme.

Simon Walton, General Manager at The Ivy Chelsea Garden, said: “Chelsea in Bloom is always a brilliant moment for us to celebrate the energy, creativity and character of Chelsea, and working with PHOHM again has allowed us to create something memorable and engaging for 2026. We wanted to interpret this year’s theme in a way that feels playful, elegant and distinctly Ivy, while inviting the public to pause, take part and enjoy the installation for themselves.”

Phoebe Mulrooney from PHOHM said: “I’m very happy to collaborate with The Ivy Chelsea Garden once again for Chelsea in Bloom 2026. Being able to get creative both physically and conceptually and have such an impactful pitch for the display is such a dream. We wanted to create an installation that feels imaginative and immersive, while responding to the theme in a way that is true to Chelsea’s sense of style and personality. The ice cream observatory element gives the display an added layer of intrigue, and we hope it draws people in to experience the floral storytelling up close.”
