Tenpin has signed for a 23,000 sq ft venue at Queensgate Peterborough as the shopping centre continues to expand its leisure offer.
The new site, located opposite Queensgate’s leisure extension, forms part of a wider £60 million investment in leisure at the destination.
Tenpin will introduce 20 bowling lanes alongside interactive darts, pool tables, private karaoke rooms and an arcade.
The venue will also include a bar and food offer, targeting families, groups of friends and corporate bookings.
The Peterborough opening will become Tenpin’s second location in the region and 61st site nationally.
It will join an existing leisure line-up at Queensgate including Odeon, which operates an IMAX cinema, and Putt & Play, alongside the forthcoming Umami World Buffet.
Queensgate said sales across its leisure offer have increased by 71% year-on-year, while leisure footfall is up 25%.
The centre is seeking to develop a broader mix of retail, food and beverage and activity-led leisure to encourage longer and more varied visits.

The Tenpin signing follows the opening of café and restaurant Jamaica Blue at Queensgate and forms part of the centre’s continuing leisure and food and beverage development.
