Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of Pounda Resort Paros, a member of Radisson Individuals, marking the brand’s arrival on the Greek island of Paros.

Pounda Resort Paros

The newly renovated 94-room beachfront resort is located in Pounda on the island’s western coast, less than a minute from the ferry crossing to Antiparos. The property offers direct beach access, a 200 sqm outdoor swimming pool, Mediterranean dining facilities and views across the Aegean Sea.

The opening comes as Paros continues to attract increasing numbers of international visitors, drawn by its beaches, water sports, island-hopping opportunities and traditional Cycladic character.

Guests at the resort are within easy reach of Parikia, the island’s capital and main port, as well as nearby attractions including the Pounda Kitesurf Club, Panagia Ekatontapiliani, the Archaeological Museum of Paros and the island of Despotiko.

Commenting on the opening, Joep Peeters, Chief Operating Officer Franchise EMEA, Radisson Hotel Group, said:

“Paros has become one of the Mediterranean’s most exciting island destinations, admired for its natural beauty, Mediterranean character, and growing appeal among international travelers. Pounda Resort Paros perfectly reflects the spirit of Radisson Individuals, distinctive hotels with their own personality, shaped by the destinations they belong to. We are delighted to welcome the resort to our portfolio and introduce guests to a relaxed beachfront experience in one of Greece’s most captivating island settings.”

Accommodation at the resort has been designed to reflect a contemporary Cycladic style, featuring white tones, natural materials and warm wood finishes. Many rooms offer sea views, while family accommodation includes bunk bed options aimed at leisure travellers visiting the island with children.

The resort’s restaurant focuses on Mediterranean cuisine inspired by Greek ingredients and local culinary traditions, while a pool bar serves drinks and light refreshments throughout the day.

A key feature of the property is its outdoor swimming pool and beachfront setting, offering guests direct access to the sea and views across the water towards sunset.

Angelos Gaviotis, Hotel Manager of Pounda Resort Paros, a member of Radisson Individuals, said:

“Reopening this hotel after its renovation is a big moment for us. We have put a lot of focus on creating a fresh, comfortable space that reflects the laid-back energy of Paros while offering the level of service guests expect from a Radisson Individuals property.”

The opening strengthens Radisson Hotel Group’s presence in Greece and adds another Mediterranean destination to the Radisson Individuals collection.
