Radisson Hotel Group has announced plans to open a Radisson Collection hotel in Frankfurt following the signing of an agreement with developer Groß & Partner.

Radisson Collection

The hotel will form part of FOUR Frankfurt, one of Europe’s most significant urban mixed-use developments, and will become the second Radisson Collection property in Germany following the brand’s debut in Berlin.

Scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2027, the hotel will occupy space within the landmark 173-metre T2 tower and further strengthen Radisson Hotel Group’s presence in one of Europe’s most important financial and business centres.

The signing reflects the group’s continued commitment to Germany and the expansion of the Radisson Collection brand in key international gateway destinations.

Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “FOUR Frankfurt represents a landmark addition to the Radisson Collection portfolio and perfectly embodies our brand promise to our guests and owners.

“As one of Europe’s most significant and bold mixed-use developments, it offers an exceptional opportunity to create a distinctive lifestyle luxury experience in the heart of Frankfurt.

“This signing reinforces our long-term confidence in Frankfurt and the German market, while further strengthening Radisson Collection’s position in key gateway cities across the world.”

The addition of Frankfurt further expands Radisson Collection’s presence in major European destinations including Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Rome and Brussels. Since its launch in 2018, the brand has grown to almost 70 hotels worldwide, focusing on distinctive properties in exceptional locations.

FOUR Frankfurt combines offices, residential accommodation, retail, dining and hospitality across four towers located between Frankfurt’s banking district and luxury retail quarter. The development has received DGNB Platinum precertification and serves as a pilot project for the DGNB’s Vertical Cities framework, incorporating sustainability measures including geothermal energy systems, biodiversity initiatives, smart building technology and extensive cycling facilities.

Radisson Collection Hotel, Frankfurt will occupy the T2 tower and feature 189 rooms and suites positioned across floors 11 to 19, offering panoramic views of the Frankfurt skyline through floor-to-ceiling glazing.

Facilities will include a lobby lounge and bar, a destination restaurant and bar, and a fitness centre, providing guests with a luxury hospitality experience in the heart of the city.

The hotel’s interior concept, developed by Radisson Hotel Group’s in-house design and architecture team in Madrid, is titled “Urban Layers” and takes inspiration from Frankfurt’s blend of historic architecture, financial influence, cultural identity and modern skyline. The design will incorporate warm neutral tones, refined materials, mineral-inspired colours and layered lighting to create a contemporary interpretation of the city.
