Elior at Work, the regional business and industry catering division of Elior UK, has been appointed by William Grant & Sons to deliver workplace dining and hospitality services across three sites in Glasgow and Girvan, South Ayrshire.

Elior at Work Wins Catering Contract with William Grant & Sons

The three-year contract supports approximately 1,200 employees and includes dining, hospitality, coffee and vending services designed to enhance the everyday workplace experience through healthier food choices, sustainability initiatives and digital innovation.

A key focus of the partnership is sustainability, with Elior at Work already introducing its Kitchen Reclaimed initiative across the sites. The programme demonstrates how ingredients that are often discarded can be transformed into innovative dishes, helping to reduce food waste while encouraging greater awareness of sustainable food practices.

Examples have included recipes made using coffee grounds, vegetable peelings and surplus fruit and vegetables, highlighting practical ways to maximise ingredient use both in the workplace and at home.

The catering offer has also been refreshed with all meals now prepared fresh on site each day. Employees benefit from an expanded Grab & Go selection, made-to-order dishes and a wider variety of menu choices designed to support healthier lifestyles.

Since the start of the partnership, Elior at Work has achieved a 50 per cent reduction in fried food served across the three locations, reflecting a shared commitment to wellbeing and healthier eating.

Technology also plays an important role in the new catering model. Elior at Work has introduced the Lolly platform, which integrates point-of-sale, digital ordering and operational reporting systems to provide real-time insights into performance and customer experience.

The platform enables improved operational efficiency while supporting consistent service delivery and enhanced customer engagement.

Calum McLaren, Divisional Managing Director at Elior at Work, said: “We’re excited to bring our catering services to one of Scotland’s most prestigious businesses, William Grant & Sons. Its sites are already benefitting from our creative and sustainable concepts, which, supported by smart technology, will continue to evolve and improve over time.

“Our focus is on creating a workplace food experience that prioritises wellbeing, flavour and variety, and we’re already seeing exciting results.”

The partnership reflects the growing demand for workplace catering solutions that combine employee wellbeing, sustainability and technology to create more engaging food experiences.

It also reinforces Elior at Work’s position within the business and industry sector, where organisations are increasingly looking for catering partners that can support wider environmental, social and employee engagement objectives.
