Berry Bros. & Rudd will host an MND Charity Auction Dinner at its historic St James’s Street home on Tuesday 22 September as it seeks to take its fundraising for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation beyond £1 million.
The black-tie, invitation-only event will take place in the Napoleon Cellar at No.3 St James’s Street and bring together customers, producers and partners from across the fine wine and spirits merchant’s community.
The fundraising campaign was inspired by Berry Bros. & Rudd Senior Buyer Davy Żyw and has already generated more than £750,000 for research into motor neurone disease.
In September 2023, colleagues and partners cycled 325 miles from London to Champagne, raising £344,500.
More than 100 colleagues subsequently completed a 100km English Wine Walk across the South Downs in 2024, raising a further £182,000.
The charity dinner will combine a five-course menu prepared by Berry Bros. & Rudd’s chefs with wines from its Family Reserve and donations from producers and suppliers.
The evening will also feature a live auction of rare wines, spirits, experiences and collectibles donated by producer partners and supporters.
Headline lots include a one-of-one 53-year-old cask-strength Glenfarclas presented in a bespoke Glencairn Crystal decanter.
Other experiences available through the auction will include a day at Royal Portrush Golf Club for three people with a celebrity captain, Wimbledon 2027 debenture tickets and a private lunch in Berry Bros. & Rudd’s Directors’ Dining Room.
A luxury raffle and guest appearances will also form part of the fundraising programme.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated directly to My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

“Every pound raised takes us another step towards our £1 million target and, ultimately, a world free from this life-shattering disease.”
