Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality has announced the opening of a new lounge at Manchester Airport, further expanding its presence in the UK airport hospitality market.

Scheduled to open in late August 2026, the new facility will become Aspire’s third lounge at Manchester Airport and its second within Terminal 2.
Operated by Aspire, Swissport International’s airport hospitality brand, the lounge will provide seating for more than 300 guests and is designed to cater for a range of traveller needs, from business passengers to families and leisure travellers.
Located away from the main departures area, the lounge will offer dining facilities, social spaces, quiet areas and private work rooms. The design incorporates references to Manchester’s industrial heritage through its artwork and interior finishes, while aiming to create a relaxed and comfortable environment for guests before departure.
The opening follows recent expansion by Aspire across the UK and Ireland, including new lounges at Liverpool and Birmingham airports.
Commenting on the announcement, James Millett, Director of Lounges UK&I and Global Customer Innovation at Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality, said:
“We’re delighted to announce our third lounge at Manchester Airport and second in Terminal 2. With a capacity of over 300, our guests can be assured of world-class, award-winning hospitality and a lounge designed to reflect our almost 40 years of experience in partnership with the airport. With a strong forward pipeline and significant continuous improvement projects to enhance the guest experience, Aspire has real momentum in the UK & Ireland as part of our global investment plan.”
David Collyer, Global Senior Vice President of Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality, added:
“We’re pleased to announce this latest opening at Manchester Airport as we continue to build out our lounge portfolio with new and expanded presence across key airports and markets worldwide. This Aspire lounge brings the very best in lounge design and all the amenities that today’s modern traveller expects. We’re ensuring that our guests’ pre-flight experience is time well spent, providing them with the space to unwind, relax, dine and socialise before their departure.”
The new lounge forms part of Aspire’s wider international growth strategy and reflects continued demand for premium airport hospitality services across major travel hubs.
