The 119-room property has been converted from an existing hotel and is owned by Proark and managed by Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA under a franchise agreement with Accor.

Located in Harlow Sculpture Town, the hotel is approximately 20 minutes by car from London Stansted Airport and has direct rail connections to London Liverpool Street.

The property has been developed around greet’s select-service model, focusing on accommodation, breakfast, Wi-Fi and informal hospitality at an accessible price point.

Aiden McAuley, Spokesperson for Accor in the UK & Ireland, said: “The arrival of greet marks an important milestone for Accor, reinforcing our commitment to diversifying our economy portfolio in the UK. As traveller expectations continue to evolve, brands like greet enable us to meet increasing demand for affordable hospitality that combines comfort, character and purpose, without compromising on value.”

Michael Brag, Chairman of Proark UK Hotels, said: “greet London Harlow represents a new chapter for the hotel and aligns with our ambition to deliver high-quality hospitality experiences that combine strong value with local character. We look forward to welcoming guests to discover the brand’s feel-good approach to travel.”

Food and beverage facilities include The Sculpt Restaurant, which serves a buffet breakfast alongside British and internationally influenced dishes.

The Sculpt Bar offers drinks and light food alongside live sport.

The hotel also includes meeting and event facilities, with a suite and flexible spaces capable of accommodating conferences, meetings and social events for up to 180 guests.

greet was launched in Beaune, France, in 2019 and has subsequently expanded to more than 45 open hotels, with more than 10 additional properties in its development pipeline.

The opening adds another brand to Accor’s UK portfolio, which comprises more than 200 hotels across approximately 20 brands.

Recent UK brand additions have also included The Queen at Chester – Handwritten Collection, while Mövenpick is preparing to enter the market with Mövenpick Hampshire – Old Thorns.

Guests at greet London Harlow will also have access to Accor’s ALL booking and loyalty programme.
