Yorkshire’s Swinton Park Hotel has announced the appointment of Jamie Keeble as Head Chef of the refreshed Chef’s Table at Swinton.

Set within the lakes, woodland and gardens of the 20,000-acre Swinton Estate near Masham, the hotel will welcome Keeble in September 2026.
Guests will be able to book the refreshed Chef’s Table from 1 October 2026.
Keeble joins Swinton having previously worked at Michelin-starred Mýse and has been recognised as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging culinary talents.
Located within the historic Coach House and featured in the Michelin Guide, the Chef’s Table has built a reputation for delivering an exclusive, interactive and immersive culinary experience.
The intimate restaurant is underpinned by Swinton Estate’s estate-to-plate philosophy.
Seating just 12 guests at a time, the Chef’s Table is rooted in provenance and seasonality, inviting diners to engage with thoughtful, sustainable gastronomy.
Keeble will specialise in using seasonal ingredients at their peak, focusing on sustainability, freshness and restrained techniques that allow the produce to take centre stage.
Ingredients will be sourced from across the estate, including the adjacent walled garden, alongside carefully selected produce from trusted local suppliers throughout Yorkshire.
Keeble’s passion for food began in childhood, cooking and baking with his mother.
He went on to study professional cookery before securing his first kitchen role at Sheffield Wednesday F.C.
From there, he joined Lords of the Manor, a Michelin-starred hotel restaurant in the Cotswolds, where he developed his technical cookery and fine dining skills.
He continued to hone his craft at Ynyshir in Wales before joining the opening team of Mýse in 2023, working alongside founders Joshua and Victoria Overington.
In February 2026, Keeble was selected for the National Restaurant Awards Rising Stars Class of 2026 and won the Rising Star Award in the chef category.
He also appeared in Series 21 of the BBC’s Great British Menu.
Keeble said: “Joining Swinton Estate is an incredible opportunity. The connection between the estate, the walled garden and the kitchen provides an outstanding platform to create a dining experience that is personal, memorable and rooted in the seasons.
“My cooking celebrates modern British food, inspired by memories, tradition and the exceptional produce we have here in Yorkshire – whether that’s using produce from our kitchen garden, tenant farmers or local Yorkshire suppliers.
“I’m looking forward to joining the team in September and putting my mark on Chef’s Table – I’m excited to see what we can achieve; along with welcoming our first guests from October.”
Steve Darou, Executive Head Chef at Swinton Estate, said: “Jamie is one of the most talented young chefs working in Britain today.
“His experience at some of the country’s most respected kitchens, including Michelin-starred Mýse, together with his creativity, technical ability and genuine passion for seasonal British produce, make him the perfect person to lead the next chapter of the Chef’s Table.
“We are thrilled to welcome him to Swinton and excited to see his vision come to life from October.”
The appointment follows the recent arrival of Darou as Executive Head Chef at Swinton Estate, after his role as Group Head Chef at St. John restaurants in London.
Together, Darou and Keeble will continue to strengthen Swinton’s reputation as one of the UK’s leading estate-to-plate dining destinations.
Keeble succeeds former Chef’s Table Head Chef Josh Barnes.
