The critically acclaimed The Barrington Boar has announced a significant expansion of its luxury hospitality offerings in South Somerset’s countryside, with the completion of Two Baker’s Farm, a newly redeveloped farmhouse adjacent to the award-winning country pub and restaurant.
Under husband-and-wife team Chef Alasdair Clifford and Victoria Collins since 2018, The Barrington Boar has evolved into a comprehensive hospitality destination that now includes The Barrington Bakery, a community and wholesale bakery with a courtyard seating area, a Market Garden supplying organic produce to the restaurant, and expanded luxury accommodation options.

The Barrington Boar now presents three distinct accommodation options to suit various preferences:
Self-Catering Holiday Lets: The Hayloft and Smithy, two new, beautifully appointed self-contained holiday lets adjacent to The Barrington Boar, feature spacious bedrooms, bright lounging and dining areas, and fully equipped kitchens with modern appliances, perfect for guests seeking privacy and independence.
Traditional B&B Rooms: Four original, charming ensuite rooms within The Barrington Boar’s main site offer classic comfort, each overlooking the peaceful garden and just a few steps from the restaurant.
Farmhouse Accommodation: Four additional ensuite B&B rooms at Two Bakers Farm, located next door, provide spacious accommodation with a pantry area with treats & honesty bar and lounge spaces within the renovated farmhouse. Each room is named after local apple varieties grown in the Burrow Hill & Somerset Cider Brandy’s orchards.
All accommodations showcase local craftsmanship, featuring hand-pressed seaweed prints from the South-West Coast and locally made Mary Temperley’s MAKE zest hand and body products. Guests enjoy a proper West Country breakfast with options from both the breakfast table and kitchen menu.
