Bike to Care, the annual charity cycling event in aid of the hospitality industry, took place in Bordeaux on the 16th & 17th June, with the UK team raising over €181,000 to support the UK hospitality industry’s benevolent charity, Hospitality Action.

The event saw Hatch Mansfield trio, Patrick McGrath, Mark Calver and Aaron Turner joined by key personalities from the UK hospitality industry to complete a two-day 200 km ride through Médoc, Graves, and the Bordeaux Right Bank.

This is the fourth year of the event, which was set up in 2022 by Pierre-Henry Gagey of Louis Jadot and his Burgundian friends, joining forces with international teams of hospitality personalities, chefs and sommeliers, all cycling to raise funds, initially for those restaurant and hospitality sectors that were badly affected by the pandemic.
