Gather joins Accessible Hospitality Alliance

Gather, an industry disruptor in the world of customer and colleague engagement, has been announced as the latest organisation to join the Accessible Hospitality Alliance roster of sponsors.

Gather is already in partnership with a number of hospitality industry organisations including the Institute of Hospitality, Arena, as well as HOSPA for several years, so are no stranger to Hospitality.

Neil Newman Founder of Gather

The Gather platform enables both customers and colleagues to engage and express themselves to a business far easier than ever before. “This is particularly key when the industry is founded on experience” explained Neil Newman Founder of Gather. He continued: “Thinking you are giving a great experience is not enough, you need to know directly from your customers. Our platform also has a track record for helping with colleague retention, which is key in an industry facing colleague retention challenges.”

Gather’s unique approach combined with their technology makes it easy for people to express themselves, alongside enabling effortless understanding of those expressions for the business through distilled information. This allows businesses to move away from the expensive reactive, to a much more cost effective -and better for all- proactive state.

Newman was recently part of a panel group event hosted by the Institute of Hospitality on accessibility, where he first met Robin Sheppard, chair at Accessible Hospitality Alliance. It was evident they shared a passion for a more accessible and inclusive hospitality industry and as such both are delighted to be now working together on The aha Forum.

The aha Forum, taking place in the City of London’s Shoe Lane next month in Partnership with Thomas Franks, will use Gather’s technology and consultancy services to add another dimension of engagement open to all attendees.

Through interactive polling and feedback on the day, attendees can glean real time information on the thoughts and feelings of others taking part, and this information will be shared with all attendees throughout the day.

Denis Sheehan, Managing Director, Accessible Hospitality Alliance

Denis Sheehan, Managing Director at Accessible Hospitality Alliance is delighted to be working with Newman and Gather telling us: “Gathering information real-time and sharing it with all taking part in The aha Forum will enable us to deliver an even more engaging event.

“We are working with Neil and his team on a number of initiatives that will make the event more personal and relevant for all.”

The Accessible Hospitality Alliance website details all of the sponsors that are working on the event, and an AI Concierge can explain all about The aha Forum here.
