aha bolsters Advisory Board through Marsham Court appointment

The Accessible Hospitality Alliance (aha), founded by hotelier and accessibility advocate Robin Sheppard, has announced James Dixon-Box, Operations Director at Marsham Court is joining their Advisory Board with immediate effect.

The creation of aha was initiated with the purpose of making the world of hospitality and catering more accessible to people living with a disability. Bringing together like minded people and businesses that want to initiate positive change by making our industry more inclusive and welcoming.

Robin Sheppard, chair of aha said of the appointment: “aha was formed to create change through focus upon accessibility within our industry. We have formed a group of people, businesses and organisations that together are far more influential than any individual or singular entity. We are building a community which through cohesive and collaborative action employ more people living with disability and provide more services open to them.
“Our Advisory Board already brings together a remarkable group of people, adding James to this team strengthens our ability to affect change. The Marsham Court Hotel is in every sense a model of an accessible business, and James was the principal architect of its open, inclusive accessibility framework.
“I welcome James to our Advisory Board and look forward to working alongside him.”
