Castle Pubs, part of Mitchells & Butlers, will reopen The Prince Albert in Notting Hill on 12 November following an extensive renovation.

Located on Pembridge Road, the 257-cover pub has undergone changes across both floors, including the introduction of a new first-floor dining area and bar, upgrades to its garden and a refreshed food offer.
The redesign combines traditional pub features with contemporary finishes, with forest green, dark poppy and teal used throughout the interiors.
Changes on the ground floor include a new bar, timber-topped tables, dark leather banquettes and finishes incorporating marble and antique brass.
Outside, the 72-cover garden has been upgraded with new bench seating beneath the existing pergola, additional furnishings, planting and lighting.
The former first-floor events space has been converted into a dedicated 72-cover dining area with its own bar and separate entrance.
The space will operate for lunch and dinner while also being available for private events and parties, with two large screens installed for major sporting events.
Operational changes have included moving the kitchen to the first floor to increase preparation and service capacity.
The expanded kitchen will support the introduction of The Prince Albert’s first Sunday roast menu alongside seasonal British dishes and pub classics.
The pub will also open for Christmas Day dining for the first time.
Dan Barnett, Operations Director at Castle Pubs, said: “The reopening of The Prince Albert reflects our continued commitment to developing our pubs for both local communities and visitors. The refurbishment has allowed us to improve the food, drink and events offer considerably, while retaining the character and atmosphere that have always been central to the pub.”
The Prince Albert is the latest Castle Pubs venue to receive investment as Mitchells & Butlers continues to upgrade the estate.
A further 12 Castle Pubs are scheduled to undergo major refurbishments during 2027.
