Clermont Hotel Group, a member of Accessible Hospitality Alliance (aha), has appointed Hannah Myles, Group Health & Safety Manager, as its Access Champion, strengthening the group’s active role in helping shape more accessible hospitality.
The appointment creates a clear point of leadership within Clermont Hotel Group for maintaining focus on accessibility across the business, helping ensure it remains part of operational thinking and practical progress.
Clermont Hotel Group joined Accessible Hospitality Alliance earlier this year, becoming part of a growing community of hospitality operators engaging with accessibility not as a passive aspiration, but through practical peer exchange, shared learning, and action.
Myles has already begun that engagement, taking part in the inaugural meeting of The Access Champions Collective, a peer group formed to bring together individuals appointed by aha operator members to keep accessibility visible and progressing within their own organisations.

The collective was established following its first gathering at Kimpton Fitzroy London, where Access Champions from across the hospitality sector met to exchange experiences, operational realities, and practical thinking.
Recognising that progress accelerates when peers learn openly from one another, the group selected three stewards to help guide its early development: Ian Bartlett, Head of Built Environment at Swinton Estate; James Dixon-Box, Operations Director at Marsham Court Hotel; and Hannah Myles, Group Health & Safety Manager at Clermont Hotel Group.
Hannah Myles, Group Health & Safety Manager, Clermont Hotel Group, said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Accessible Hospitality Alliance as an Access Champion and Steward. I’m looking forward to creating truly inclusive environments where everyone feels welcomed and valued, whilst collaborating with others who share that passion to help drive meaningful, lasting improvements across the industry.“
Myles will continue that engagement at The aha Forum, in Partnership with Thomas Franks, where Clermont Hotel Group will be represented alongside hospitality operator members, partner members, and people with lived experience of barriers to hospitality for a day of discussion, reflection, and open exchange.

Charlotte Evans, Group Partnerships Director, Accessible Hospitality Alliance, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Hannah to The Access Champions Collective, and are confident she will be an exceptional Access Champion and Steward. Such appointments are key to translating commitment into meaningful progress, and it is excellent to see Clermont Hotel Group lead from the front on accessibility.”
The forum, taking place on 9 June at Barings in London, is now fully subscribed, reinforcing the appetite among hospitality operators to be part of live conversations shaping the future of accessible hospitality. For aha members, the value is in being in the room: contributing, challenging perspectives, and helping shape change.
