CHG operates 14 hotels across the capital, encompassing four unique brands, offering a rich and diverse portfolio with over 4,000 bedrooms and over 100 meeting and event spaces.

The group’s people-led approach combines large-scale operational capabilities with an emphasis on personalised service. CHG has established a structured approach to accessibility across its portfolio, with independent access audits undertaken across all hotels now being developed into clear, guest-facing access guides to inform guests ahead of their stay.

Alongside this, the group analyses semantic guest feedback to better understand lived experience, identifying real-world scenarios that are being reviewed alongside audit recommendations.

This combination of operational insight and guest-led perspective is now strengthened through membership of Accessible Hospitality Alliance, enabling engagement with a peer group of operators through the Access Champions Collective and informing ongoing access improvements across the group’s hotels.

Anthony Cox, Head of Operational Support for CHG, reflecting on the decision to join the alliance, said: “In an industry as broad and dynamic as ours, collaboration is key to meaningful change. That’s why Clermont Hotel Group is delighted to become a part of the Accessible Hospitality Alliance, working alongside other forward thinking hotel operators to make accessibility a collective priority.”

Charlotte Evans, Group Partnerships Director, Accessible Hospitality Alliance, said: “Clermont Hotel Group’s commitment to understanding accessibility through both operational insight and guest experience reflects the kind of leadership we value within the alliance. We’re delighted to welcome them and look forward to working together to drive meaningful improvements across the sector.”

Clermont Hotel Group’s membership reflects a growing shift among hospitality operators to embed accessibility within core business performance.

As part of the membership, CHG will appoint an Access Champion who will attend The aha Forum, in Partnership with Thomas Franks, taking place in 9 June at Barings, 20 Old Bailey, City of London.
